Partnering Up:
Regional Forums Help to Build the Movement:

Rails-to-Trails Conservancy is convening three regional forums with prominent trail and active transportation advocates this summer in the northeast, midwest and western regions of the United States. Gathering trail organizations and agencies across the country, these forums will initiate long-term regional partnerships and unify the diverse voices in the field—along issues including funding and policy models, protecting trail resources, and interstate trail connections. "These regional partnerships are exciting opportunities to galvanize the active transportation movement," says Kartik Srinivas, Outreach Manager for Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, "by attracting new resources and identifying and framing other shared priorities."

If you or your organization would like to participate in regional activities and partnerships, or to learn more about the active transportation movement, please contact Kartik Srinivas at
