Help "Share the Road" with California Cyclists

The Orange County Wheelmen, a Southern California-based bicycle club, is circulating a petition to create a California "Share the Road" license plate. This campaign is based on a similar "Share the Road Bill" in Colorado, which recently passed the State Senate (31 to 3) and is now headed to the House. The "Share the Road" license plate would feature a picture of a cyclist, and proceeds from plate sales would be used towards the funding of California bicycle-safety education programs. The petition has already gathered close to 8,000 signatures.
